Going on a trip? Need someone to watch your best friend while you're gone? Welcome to your pet's home away from home. Our built-in cozy kennels give your pup plenty of room to stretch out while they're snoozing before their big day of play.
We recommend bringing your dogs normal food from home to avoid digestive upset, however in the event that you do not choose to bring your own dog food, we offer house kibble for $3 per day, per dog. We keep Purina One Lamb And Rice dog food on hand, as well as optional food toppers like cooked chicken, rice, vegetables and yogurt.
If your dog requires a special diet (prescription, raw, homecooked etc) you must provide the ingredients but we are happy to prepare any type meal for your dog(s)!
If you forget to bring a leash, no worries. Just be sure to let us know when you call for drop-off so we can bring a lead to safely bring your pet into the facility.
Medications must be clearly labeled with the dogs name, last name and correct dosage on each package. You may bring them in original bottles, prepacked in zip lock bags labeled with date and time to administer on each bag, or in a daily pill box.
Injectable medications must be in the original packaging.
Diabetic Dogs
You must provide syringes for each injection (we will not reuse any syringe or needle), test strips, glucometer, and insulin.
Epilepsy and Seizure Disorders
Please provide ample medications as well as emergency medications in the event of a seizure (such as diazepam or phenobarbital). Be sure to inform staff of any compromised liver function or liver disease (shunt or cirrhosis etc.) Name and phone number of your pets' neurologist must be provided.
We do suggest that you bring a bed for your pet, as this will not only add to their comfortability but it may help calm down potentially anxious pets by reminding them of home. We do carry blankets that we layer in the kennel in the event that you choose not to bring your bed in.
You may bring in treats and bones for your dog to give them something sweet while they're in their kennel
Most toys are allowed while dogs are in their room, however these toys should not be your dog's favorites as they treat these as high-value items and could potentially start guarding them from other dogs. We cannot accept rope toys due to choking and ingestion risks.
Pinkie's provides hundreds of tennis balls and "house toys" if you'd like your pet to have a house toy in their room at night please let us know!
We are unable to accept anything made of glass into our facility due to the risk of breakage and/injury
Favorite toys, beds etc. should be kept at home. Dogs can get overly excited or anxious during boarding and become more destructive than normal. Guarding these favorites is also a possibility in a group setting and can lead to altercations. Staff also wash everything your pet has brought including toys-sometimes things can get misplaced.
Please keep your dogs favorites at home so they are not lost or destroyed during their stay.
Pinkie's will provide for your dog an appropriately sized stainless steel bowl for meals. Slow feeders are also available by request or if we notice your pet eating too quickly. All bowls are washed after every feeding . To avoid any confusion we will not accept bowls from home.
These chews present a choking hazard and should only be chewed with supervision. Only toys and treats that can be used/consumed without supervision are allowed.
Rope toys should be played with under supervision as they are a choking hazard and due to the frequency in which the toys pieces are ingested they cannot be accepted.
Two or more pets of the same family. Does not stack with each dog.
